NEW IN: Antwerp vs primark

As I mentioned. Snapshots from the new spring-fill-in-on-my-closet. Don't you just love the feeling of giving a glimpse on your catches after a day of 'shopping till yah drop'?! Most of the time sitting in a hot bath to decrease this supah painfull swollen feet. Isn't that terrible? On such moments, I feel like my grandma living her days, while I'm only 20... Shopping IS a workout, and boys can laugh with it, but I guess a lot of girls know what I'm talking about. And although it's painfull, we don't give up, on the contrary, when we get the chance (and would be sponsored by some fool), we would do it every day, don't we?

Essentiel stocksale

Last saturday, it waz one of my favourite days of the season: the Essentiel stocksale. Normally it takes 4 days, but this time it waz only 2 days that you could enjoy extreme discounts. Essentiel is a great brand but sometimes a little expensive so it's a great idea to organise such sales imo. Unfortunately, some people dislike it because you buy clothes from previous seasons & collections; but hey does time uglify clothes? Not at all I think, girls who buy every season a complete new wardrobe, detest their previous, miss the whole concept of combining. There's nothing as fun when you find a undiscovered-unworn piece of clothing in the back of your closet, entirely appropriate for a new piece, isn't it? So I bought my ass off @ this sale. (Normally you can score pieces @ -50% EXTRA discount the last day, but since it waz only 2 days: the cashiers got a bit more of freedom in assigning the prices: yes!)

So after waiting a line with crazy women, and choose or favourite pieces; we celebrated our bargains with a lovely meal @ lunch garden & a party @ night.

Shopping trip: Antwerp

Aargh, it's been a while again, this week was so busy I forgot posting!
Once a season, I go on a serious shopping trip to Antwerp, because it stayz the shopwahalla of Belgium. (my fave top: 1. Antwerp 2. Luik 3. Gent 4. Brussels 5. Hasselt 6.Leuven) But when I go, I like to do it W.I.L.D. So I wait untill I gather enough money and then spend it recklessly. And with that I don't mean bad buyz, but buyz without money considerations ;). Luckily my clothing-sale @ Louvintage did go well, so I could replace the old empty space in my closet with something new. So last tuesday I went to the city from every girl's dream. I prefer shopping alone, because there are absolutely no limits: you can traverse from one store to another and back again, you don't have to wait in the fitting rooms, you can stay as long or as short as you want in a store,... I could name a lot of benefits. And what if you doubt? You can't ask a friend's opinion? Well it's simple; I almost never doubt about buying something or not. The only disadvantage is to eat something alone; there are cooler thingz then that :D. But lucky me: I've got a male friend who just loves the same details as me. So we go to Antwerp together: take the train, smoke some cigarettes, split up, eat together @ noon, split up, call each other to ask what the state of affairs are, rejoin, smoke some cigarettes, take the train back home, and whine about our feet & buyz or not-buyz. Love it!
