Outfit of the night: NYE

H to the angover? Not only from this lovely party at NYE, but also from this amply abundance of food, presents & festive time. 
My good intensions for this new year? At first... maybe lose these festive pounds? 
I could say I'm gonna quit smoking this year; in that case I would consider myself as pinocchio and a pretty little liar, because I don't. In fact I love smokin' my dear gauloises. And I knooooow, it's bad for the health and so, and so, and so onnnn... You have to die by something, no? (Categorize this as a professional smoke-excuse, haha.) But when I use my brains; I'm planning to stop before my graduation, taking a fresh start. (I heard that your lungs fully recover in 5 years of no-smoke) So that should be a good intention for the year 2016. (at best of course)
And that brings me to my last good intention: making good exams in january (and june; but that's still far away). And the only way to attain this: S to the tudy.

Outfit of the day: Xmas

Pfieeeuw; after just munching those last leftovers, I feel kinda bloated. Long time ago my tummy feels so round; we call it not for nothing Christmas-pounds, do we? Like I've mentioned; we don't do gifts @ Christmas, so while everyone is showing & instagramming his presents, I stay behind empty-handed. But let's put it in perspective; my climax will be at New Year! 

Between all this preparing for exams, I cooked a nice meal with scampi's @ Christmas Eve & collapsed in the sofa with - this oh so exploited, hundreds of times watched - 'Home Alone' movie. (And every time again this Kevin McCallister keeps charming me...). & although the next day was a new learning day -jeeeeeej- I highlighted the day by putting on some festive clothes, probably I couldn't miss the chance to run away from those books...

After this delicious turkey & stollen (still one tradition saved) that my daddy made, I stored away my fancy clothes for the REAL familyparties @ 1 january.

Outfit of the day: snake woman

An outfit from last week; didn't find the time to upload between all this schoolwork. Seriously, it drives me crazy, learning-period is almost there and I have tons of work to do, dunno where to begin first. Actually, I'll maybe have to admit that I could have done a bit of this work earlier, but you know how it goes: friendz-events, parties, shopping, being the lazy-ass,... and then POOF: back to life, back to reality. So it's working-time from now on, blinders on, little party and STUDY.

Ok, so for the outfit; since my closet is filled again (which I showed you in this post), I chose this snake-outfit. The blouse and skirt are new, but the boots you guyz saw over and over again: can't get enough of them!

Oh and sorry for the bad light of the pictures, looks like the sun does it's work in a wrong way...

Shopping trip: Antwerp

Aargh, it's been a while again, this week was so busy I forgot posting!
Once a season, I go on a serious shopping trip to Antwerp, because it stayz the shopwahalla of Belgium. (my fave top: 1. Antwerp 2. Luik 3. Gent 4. Brussels 5. Hasselt 6.Leuven) But when I go, I like to do it W.I.L.D. So I wait untill I gather enough money and then spend it recklessly. And with that I don't mean bad buyz, but buyz without money considerations ;). Luckily my clothing-sale @ Louvintage did go well, so I could replace the old empty space in my closet with something new. So last tuesday I went to the city from every girl's dream. I prefer shopping alone, because there are absolutely no limits: you can traverse from one store to another and back again, you don't have to wait in the fitting rooms, you can stay as long or as short as you want in a store,... I could name a lot of benefits. And what if you doubt? You can't ask a friend's opinion? Well it's simple; I almost never doubt about buying something or not. The only disadvantage is to eat something alone; there are cooler thingz then that :D. But lucky me: I've got a male friend who just loves the same details as me. So we go to Antwerp together: take the train, smoke some cigarettes, split up, eat together @ noon, split up, call each other to ask what the state of affairs are, rejoin, smoke some cigarettes, take the train back home, and whine about our feet & buyz or not-buyz. Love it!

Outfit of the day: Friendly Prisoner

Hi!

I've told you in my previous post I was searching for work; en jeppah... I got work: but not really the kind I imagined... Yesterday was my first day, or let's better say night. I have to work from 5 pm till 1 am, so you can say it's partly night work. When I heard the name night work, in my mind I saw floating the euro notes (hello: I could also been partying?!) but nothing is less true. It doesn't pay well and the job sux (I have to fill boxes with batteries...). Some relief: there are other working students to talk with :). I could keep complaining but work is work and it's only today, monday & tuesday; and then Travel-Time ^^. 

Fit into the picture; I have an outfit of the day (snapshot from before: the weather sux today!), and I think it's prison-tinted (think @ work). First the stripes, and then the plates, studs & chains.

Hi!

It's fine to feel back on track! Yesterday, I had my exam of statistics, but did I succeed? Don't ask me... It was very difficult but I thought I did better than last time. Anywayz to celebrate the sequel of my vacation, I've been eating sushi with a couple of friendz (although they have to finish other examinations, poor guys!).

For my outfit of the day, I found inspiration in some fruit juice (weird, yeah i know). I combined a floral skirt (with main colours pink and orange) with a lemon tank top embellished with some pearls. The skirt, I ordered online on BOOHOO (my favourite webshop) and the top is from sales @ Forever 21. I tried this 2 with my wedges from 3Suisses. These aren't my everyday shoelovely's because I don't wear much heels (caused by my length: I don't want to be seen as 'Long Neck' the attraction in the amusement park 'Efteling').

So i'm summerproof again, ready 2 do nice things. xoxo
