Outfit of the day: fruity leather

Today I present you an outfit I wore during a casual school-day ending with a movie-night with the ladies & guy from my psychology class. Our name 'psychokids' arose spontaneously, and besides our private group on facebook (a place to share school-info, questions & tricks), we organise regularly a night out. (Like dinner: we simply LOVE sushi!, partytime, bdays,...) So last monday we organised a movie-night with the essential snacks. We saw the movie 50/50, which was rather good (&psychological!) in my opinion. Next monday we are organising a little x-mass-party, I will keep you guyz posted!

I'm wearing this coat for years now and I can't get enough of it! I simply love the color, but when I bought it; it wasn't totally perfect: I didn't like the buttons... So I sewed new buttons on it (DIY's have solutions for every problems!) and... there it waz: my perfectly, 'unique' coat was alive. And still... I'm truly in love with it!

wearing: sweater tunic (thrifted) - leather leggings (soaked in luxury) - cardigan (zara) - shoes (the fab shoes) - coat (WE) - scarf (essentiel) - earrings (six)

DIY advanced: fimo

Today, I'm gonna present you some DIY-projects of my aunt. She's been very busy with some clay-projects lately, and because I like them so much, I will upload some pictures of it. It's fascinating what a great finesse hides behind this. The smallest precision is required for these small holes, arcs, colors and final touches. For myself, it's clear: don't try this @ home, simply because I don't own that finesse. But if you have some questions about how my aunt begins with all this, or if you need some tips, maybe want to buy something? You can always mail me!

Enjoy xoxo

NAILART: GOLD BLUE V

It's time for a new nailart of the day. Since I became obsessed by nail art, I'm also checking out some other nail art blogs sometimes for inspiration. But in comparison to them; I feel like a f*cking newbie. Their nails are always perfectly done: no leftovers or colors outside the lines nor scratches from bumping to something: in short: an artful job. Well I'm hoping I'll walk the line too in the future. I definitely won't stop trying! So here a little DIY:

STEP 1: Choose a base color. (I chose a blue one from primark.)

STEP 2: Cut some angles from 90° from a piece of paper. (The degrees don't matter; but they look more the same then) Paste them on your nails with a bit scotch tape.

STEP 3: Polish over the angles with another color (I chose a violet one from primark). Important: make sure the angles are tight enough and allow to dry.
STEP 4: You can now use a cotton bud, a toothpick or nail art pen to improve the angles and add a 3th color.

DIY: Nail polish holder

Hi guys!

During my creative sunday I've made an holder for my nail polishes; since they stood always randomly in my closet etc... And of course, it looks classy @ my room in Leuven. (I'm accustomed already!), Today a short post because I'm going dining with a friend in a little while and I have to get ready in time. (stressssssssss).

So here I will tell you how I've made it:

1) WHAT DO YOU NEED?
a pair of scissors, a knife, eventual a pencil and lath (but I admit; I did it   without...), needle sticks or small needles, the lid of a shoe box, a piece of isomo/polystyrene
(I picked one of an old computer with already angular shapes, but you can certainly cut it out yourself!)

2) BUILDING?
I've cut some pieces, and built a kind of stage (my polish catwalk haha!)

3) ATTACHING?
WARNING: do not use glue!!@ the first picture you see what happens if you glue it ;) So just use some needles. When it's all tight, you can decorate it with a cloth or rag, that you can choose yourself, and fix it again with needles.

4) TADAAAAAAAAAAAAA

So now my polishes are neatly stowed and it helps me choose a color.

Hope you like it...

DIY: punk-shirt

Hi folks,

SOS, i'm searching 4 work... I've been surfing all day long, looking for a summer job, in vain. I am €600 in debt to my daddy, I borrowed money to pay my trip to Turkey from next week. So before school starts again (24 september, yikes!), I have to gather that money. So between my search-sessions online, I got jitters to DIY. So I looked in my closet, and there I found some stuff to make this skull-shirt and pimp it out with studs. I'm happy with the result, it's perfect for some weather like today, can't wait 2 wear it.
Oh and I passed by 'Kruidvat' and bought some new nail-stuff, so when the ombré nails have had their best time, I will post some new stuff.

(btw; the red spots are still from the processionary, no pimples or something ;) )
