PERSONAL; friendz eventz - the bday!

Last saturday was my birthday. The partying started already friday. I went with some friendz to a special 'bday night' @ a local discotheque. There were opportunities for buying champagne at reduced price. Bubbles + reduced ? NICE. So we drank and danced the night away. And when I came home back then, I drank the water away, avoiding the hangover of course. On the big day itself, the family came over for happy dinner time and to eat 'some' cake. To eat a LOT of cake, actually. Funny thing is that it's my favorite aunt's bday that day too! She turned 16 (but you have to read it in the other direction). Traditionally we celebrate together and blow the candles from the lovely cake, together. After this lil home-dinner, I went out that night again, but that wasn't that spectacular. Anywayz, I couldn't get enough of it, so I threw a party for friendz @ my student house with some snacks and booze. A LOT of booze, you know the reputation of a young student, right? Again we partied the night away. But now I'm definitely satiated, it waz très bien mes amis. And the presents? Love, love them. I received folders, money, the liquid sand collection from OPI, 2 lovely statement necklaces and vouchers for sunglasses, sushi, zara and Zalando! The money is no more btw, I bought immediately an iPhone, an investment as I predicted! Again thanks folks, this was a nice edition, maybe there is no curse at all? That's that. Forever 20. That's how it should be! 

AD: Pixum picture perfect

Pictures fade away, memories forever stay. Even though this one is an all time stayer, I love to have pictures of memories. Especially of me and my friendz. A short time ago; my external hard disk was broken. I almost had a heart-attack (all my pictures from 2001 untill nowadays were on it), but luckily it could be repaired. That's why it's nice to have all your pictures also printed. But in this online virtual world, people don't pay attention to it anymore. Each summer, as I went on vacation with friendz, I always make a photobook afterwards, with a short summary of these lovely times. Just because it's fun, and to show the kids in the future of course, haha.

I was very thrilled when Pixum offered me a lovely opportunity to test their services. It's an online shop and they offer thingz like photobooks, canvases, posters, calendars, greeting cards, or just simply printing your pics! Something for everyone, there are a lot of possibilities; whether you want to surprise a friend with a gift, whether you just simply love pictures&co as me.

I ordered a photo poster, designed by myself, with the aid of the service. At first, you can choose your own background, secondly upload your pictures and place them where you want and in the end you can even add your own text. It's that simple. As you can see on the pics, I've made a collage of the nightlife in Leuven (the city I study). I'm very happy with the result; the quality of the pictures stayed perfect, and the print is as I expected, moreover the shipment was shipshape and therefore it deserves a place above my bed, in my student-room of course. Definitely a nice idea as a gift.

PERSONAL: friendz eventz nye

As I promised; I would give you guyz an update of my NYE. To be honest, this night is more black than bright. (And by that I mean drunky drunk, I sure do.) Let's put this puzzle pieces together. 
So after a miserable forenoon of learning, I made myself ready as I showed you here. We congregated @ 6 pm to give our presents. It's kinda tradition to meet every NYE with these lovely friendz to eat some delicious food, give presents to a person on the little paper we pulled before,(we even eat these tiny papers after the lottery draw, haha) and dance together the night away. So on the rythm of bacardi-william lawson-martini-fiero-smirnoff-... (yes indeed: the game that you have to complete some kind of brand or object, or you lose) we gave our presents. I consider it rather more pleasant than the just 'hey-here-you-go-your-present'. I received a package of starbucks with some caramel sirup to make some delicious coffee! (and a bottle of wine) Perfect to stay high-concentraded between my exams: thanks Tommie! The other presents were also quite lovely imo; tshirt&scarf, zara necklace and an odor-making buddha. 

Afterwards, we drawed up to the table @ some nice winter bbq and drank 'some' glasses of wine. When we arrived @ the party (some local nye party), we were already tipsy. I guess this progressed in a heavy-like way.

I've made a wise selection of photo's, because there were a lot of 'improper', to say the least. Each year it's kinda competition between us who has got the most scandalous photo's, well this year we've an ex aequo I guess. So I will save you from this monstrosities. And I see you thinking, but don't act like an angel, nye is just THAT drunk event, isn't it?

And well after this lovely night; I had to attend 2 familyparties, and I said nay twice 2 this delicious food. In Belgium we call it: at night big Jan, in the morning Dafalgan. And even that didn't appease this serious hangover. Anywayz; I received a lot of money, an Inno-giftcheck, win for life (€3 yay!) and a lovely ring.

FRIENDZ EVENTZ: Girls just wanna have fun

Hi there, 

I'm glad to tell you, I had a cozy, lazy weekend. Saturday, I was wondering what to do; luckily a friend had the same lazy feelings and we organised an old-skool girls night with another friend. Because girls stay girls: sometimes they need me-time, and a time of zen to toooooootally chill out (preferably with cucumber slices on your eyes) and that's exactly what we did. With 2 bottles of cava; a loooooooot of snackfood (potato chips, cheese, olives, sundried tomatoes,...), lovely tunes in the background and some candlelight we started. We placed masks on our face (I had my favourite: strawberry-chocolate), polished our nails different and then choose for the newspaper nails (I will post the video of a DIY) and played stupid girly games like 'giebelen' (it's a game for 12-year olds but hey; a lil bit of nostalgia with some cava in your tummy is real fun!).

1 week OFF

Hi!

Like I said before; this night @ 3am, I'm off to Brussels airport 4 a nice trip with 3 friendz to Turkey. Because my internet @ home gave up; I can't do any cool last post..(Typical; hope it will be fixed when I'm back!) Currently i'm blogging my stress away; cause I haven't packed anything yet; yikes! So leaving a short post; just 2 let you know there will be no posts next week. I wish you all the best weather but I think I gonna own you big time, haha.
